Creamy Bolognese potato gratin bake
This easy one-pot meal is going to be your new favourite comfort meal thanks to Kat & Alex from @thefoodinbox. The creamy bolognese sauce and cheesy potato goodness is a game changer!
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 1 carrot, finely diced
- 2 stalks celery, finely diced
- 5 garlic cloves, finely diced

800g pork mince
- 700ml passata

1 tbsp chicken stock powder

1 tbsp Italian herbs

300mL thickened cream
- 1 box of Potato Utopia 4 cheese gratins value pack from Costco
- Parmesan cheese, for grating
Method:
- Sauté the onion, carrot, celery and garlic with olive oil in a large ovenproof pan until softened, around 2-3 mins.
- Add the pork mince into the pan and break up with a wooden spoon, stirring until cooked through.
- Pour in the passata, chicken stock powder and Italian herbs; mix to combine, then simmer on low for 10 minutes.
- Add in the thickened cream, stir until fully combined, then remove from the heat.
- Arrange the Potato Utopia potato gratins gently on top of the bolognese mixture and top with grated parmesan.

Bake in the oven at 200 degrees fan-forced for 30 mins or until the gratins are golden brown on top - enjoy!
