EASY SLOW-COOKED BEEF

Busy days, motherhood, tight schedules… nourishing meals don’t have to mean spending hours in the kitchen. Her secret is making the protein ahead of time and pairing it with an easy, delicious side like Potato Utopia.
Pop this slow-cooked beef on in the morning, let it cook away for hours, and by dinner you’ve got fall-apart tender beef ready to serve with crispy, creamy Potato Utopia gratins. Minimal effort, maximum nourishment.

Ingredients:
- 1–1.5kg beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, roughly chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 500ml water
- 2 tbs Beef Bone Broth by Nutra naturals
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt & pepper

Instructions
- Season the beef generously and sear until browned on all sides.
- Add the onion, garlic and tomato paste to your slow cooker.
- Place the beef on top and pour over the water with bone broth powder. Add thyme.
- Cook on low for ~6h until fall-apart tender.
- Shred the beef and spoon over those delicious cooking juices.
